This resturant is awesome in every aspect. The cook utilizing a Hybatchi grill in the center of the tables surrounded by their patrons. People tend to enjoy this as they may monitor how their food is being prepared.The chef's put on a lively show to keep the children and adults entertained while the food is being prepared. Lude humor may be used on occasion depending on the patrons at the table. Either way, these guys are hilarious. You may choose from the menu which items you would like cooked and how you would like them prepared. The Shrimp and chicken has always been my choice. There has never been a bad word concerning any food coming off of these grills to my knowledge. Def a crowd pleaser. Words of advice, Drink the Sour Apple Saki only and watch out for flying shrimp.

This is the best Japanese restaurant ever. Love the way they keep track of your order and all the tricks they do while cooking, letting you taste the food and having fun in the process. I was brought in by some local friends and I love every time we go there. Even though I come from Puerto Rico, this is the first time I experience something like it. I figure every time I come to South Carolina I will try to go there and enjoy the food and the cooking experience of Yamato's. Love to Maragaret and Bob and you all in the south from Puerto Rico. Food was average to below average. The service was the worst I've had in years at any type of restaurant.

Great for dinner and the left overs are alway great for lunch the next day! The filet just melts in your mouth... Ask about the early bird specials

could eat there every night, portions are huge.. always left overs..!! yum!
